Connect your phone to the same network as the computer running FULL BOOST.
Open VS mode in the game and scan the on-screen QR code with your camera.
Your phone becomes a controller. On Windows, allow the game through the firewall when asked.

The game isn't code-signed, so SmartScreen may warn you. Click More info → Run anyway. And remember: extract the whole zip before running — don't launch it from inside the archive.
